Dr Ashley Sweeney-Bautista
I’m Dr. Ashley Sweeney-Bautista, DC. Straight out of school, I built a clinic from zero patients to ten practitioners — onboarding new hires to $100K in their first year while treating patients and managing clinicians’ careers at the same time. Thirteen years in practice, several restarts through maternity leave, and four clinics built, expanded, and sold. I now practice, consult, and mentor new practitioners across chiropractic, physio, and massage in Alberta.
Every new hire I brought in was a new graduate, never an experienced associate. Same pattern, every time: strong clinical training, no consistent way to communicate it, no structured way to make the harder calls, and minimal business literacy. I watched it happen often enough to stop calling it a coincidence.
